Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data PostVIA processes, why, and what control you have over it.

Last updated: September 30, 2026

Who is responsible

The controller of your personal data is Vladimir Kotenev, the operator of PostVIA. Contact for any privacy question or request: hello@postvia.online.

Data we process

Account data: your email address, name, language, time zone and your acceptance of these documents.

Content: the posts you write, the media you upload and the schedule and results of your publications.

Connected accounts: the username, profile picture and status of the social accounts you connect. Access tokens for social networks are held by our publishing partner, not by PostVIA.

Security and anti-abuse data: pseudonymous (hashed) signals used to protect sign-up and the free trial.

Billing: your plan, the history of purchases and a reference to your customer record at Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

We do not store IP addresses with your account or sessions; signals derived from them for abuse protection are kept only as pseudonymous hashes.

Why we process it

To provide the service you signed up for (contract), to keep the service secure and prevent abuse of the free trial (legitimate interest), and to keep billing records required by law (legal obligation).

Service providers

We use Cloudflare for hosting, media storage and bot protection, Neon for the database, Post for Me to publish to social networks, Resend to send emails and, if you choose it, Google for sign-in and (only with your consent on the public website) Google Analytics.

Payments are handled by Link and Stripe, which act as independent controllers for payment data under their own privacy policies.

Some of these providers process data outside the European Economic Area under the safeguards they offer (such as Standard Contractual Clauses).

How long we keep data

Media of published posts is deleted 30 days after publication, media of failed or cancelled posts after 24 hours, and uploads that were never used after 24 hours.

In-app notifications are kept for 90 days.

If you delete your account, your data is deleted. A pseudonymous record that a trial was used is kept for 730 days so the free trial cannot be restarted with a new account.

Records of your acceptance of these documents are kept while your account exists. If you delete your account, a pseudonymous record of that acceptance (a one-way hash of your email, the document versions and the acceptance date; no name or account identifier) is kept for 3 years, so we can show that a document was accepted if a payment dispute or legal claim is raised after deletion. Billing records are kept as long as tax law requires.

Emails

We only send emails that are needed: verification codes, a welcome email, account deletion confirmation and important billing messages. We do not email you about every publication.

Cookies and browser storage

PostVIA uses only cookies that the service needs: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, a language cookie (1 year) and a random device identifier (1 year) used to protect sign-up and the free trial from abuse. Your colour theme is stored in your browser.

Cloudflare Turnstile may set its own security cookies when it checks that you are human.

Analytics: on the public website (not in your account) we use Google Analytics 4 only if you click "Accept" in the cookie banner (consent). It then sets its own cookies (_ga, up to 2 years) and receives the pages you visit, your browser and device type and your approximate location; Google Signals and advertising features are turned off. If you decline, nothing from Google is loaded. You can withdraw consent any time under "Cookie settings" at the bottom of the site. We do not use advertising cookies.

Your rights

You can edit your preferences, disconnect social accounts and delete posts at any time, and delete your account in Settings.

You may also ask for access to, correction, export or deletion of your data, or object to its processing, by writing to hello@postvia.online. You have the right to complain to a data protection authority.

The pseudonymous acceptance record described above is kept even after such a request, on the basis of our legitimate interest in defending against legal claims.

Children

PostVIA is not intended for anyone under 18.
