How do I make text bold on LinkedIn?
Type the words here, copy the Bold version and paste it into your LinkedIn post. It works in posts, comments, your headline and the About section.
Should I bold my whole LinkedIn post?
No. Bold one hook line or a few key words: long styled text is harder to read and screen readers may read it letter by letter.
How does bold text work on social media?
Networks accept plain text only. The formatter swaps each letter for a look-alike Unicode symbol, so the style survives when you paste it into a post, bio or comment.
Will styled text hurt my reach?
The symbols are valid text, but screen readers may read them letter by letter and search may not match them. Use them for a heading or a few key words, not the whole post.
Does it work with non-Latin alphabets?
Unicode only has styled versions of Latin letters and digits. Other characters, including Cyrillic, are copied unchanged.
Is my text stored?
No. Formatting runs in your browser and nothing you type is sent to PostVIA.
